Makers Marks and novel sought after early manufacturing unique touches galore; one plate seems to have a very minor back flake 1.5cm round, or is it a tongs witness mark?? - flake shown in last picture... NOTE One plate has minor stress fractures (crazing) in the clear glaze area that are visible in certain light. We have added a photo at the end, it's not perfect but occasionally in estate china and the Woods Burslem of this age it can be found. It appears only cosmetic and only visible at certain angles, but just wanted to call it out on this one plate.
