A SUPERB ANTIQUE VICTORIAN LARGE STERLING SILVER SCENT BOTTLE, THE BODY AND HINGED COVER WITH EXCEPTIONAL REPOUSSÉ FOLIATE & SCROLL DECORATION. THE FRONT CENTRE WITH A VACANT SHIELD SHAPED CARTOUCHE. THE SCENT BOTTLE IS IN FABULOUS CONDITION THROUGHOUT, THE HINGED COVER OPENS AND SNAPS SHUT GOOD AND TIGHT AND THE ORIGINAL GLASS STOPPER REMAINS, THE GLASS INTERIOR APPEARS IN PERFECT CONDITION AND I WOULD SAY THAT THE BOTTLE WAS PROBABLY SELDOM USED. THE BOTTLE IS HALLMARKED TO BOTH SIDES AND PART MARKED ON THE COVER. THE REPOUSSÉ DECORATION IS CRISP EXPERTLY APPLIED.
