C1850 Excellent Large American Victorian Lemon Gilded Ripple Folk 15 x 18 Frame

  

This is an outstanding mid 19th century American gilded frame. Bright, light lemon-colored water gilded surface with great patina, square nailed, mitered corners and unpainted sides. The frame is in excellent condition with minor wear and measures 17 1/4 x 20 1/4 with a 15 x 18 rabbet. Another great looking period gilded ripple perfect for a portrait, flag, folk art or textile.
